I'll kick the "Build Your Story" Build Yourself Up Series with my triumph story of how I started building myself up. You can really build yourself up in a ton of different ways. First, I remember trying to justify why I shouldn't start my own company, thinking that it would be way too much work and I just didn't have the time to really put my everything in it. But I soon learned that, you make time for the things that you truly want to make time for. This meant that I was not serious about the idea, but I knew I was, so I began to make time. I set aside times of the week to solely work on t shirt designs until I came up with my first design that I just really felt was the one. And then one semester after refunds dropped, I bought just 3 shirts JUST to feel like I had really started and am really serious about building a company to inspire others. I bought a shirt for me, my sister and my brother. When I tell you we ROCKED the shit out of those shirts!! And I was proud, just because I made those shirts....We was wearing shirts that I made, that are actually inspiring others just as I had imagined they would. And seeing that vision actually come to life changed Build Yourself Up to my number 1 priority. Once you make your purpose your Number 1 priority, you begin to make time for it all the time when you used to think you had no time for it. And pretty much after that, I gained confidence in my brand, which helped me gain more confidence in myself that I was making my dreams happen. I started losing weight and being serious about all the things that I seriously wanted in life. I traveled more, I ate healthier, I became a better person overall. Just changing your priorities a little and finding time to feed your purpose will change your life. I built myself up by just having the thought of building my own company, and continued to build, never stopping, no matter what obstacles in my way , through all the rocks placed in my life... I made those rocks help me build my rocketship, build my journey, my success.......
